Royal Artillery Drivers

Here's a quick pic of this week's work - artillery drivers. I've done 8 so far but still in progress. This lot are actually going to be RHA drivers - the RAD (who worked with the Foot Artillery) had a slightly different tunic - so these will be joining a battery of horse  - probably Ross - rather than staying with the Sandham RA battery I've been working on.

I imagine this is pretty dull gibberish to most people so I'll shut up.


The next pics will be of the RAD drivers who pulled the guns and limbers etc of Sandham's battery.

    Up to your usual high standard.

    I'm still impressed that you have stuck to this huge task. It makes knocking up a few hundred figures for a wargames army seem childs play !

    Thanks! I try not to think about the inescapable mathematical fact that I'll never get close to completing the project by that 2015 deadline! But hey, what would I do with my free time afterwards?

    They look very nice - I'm a bit of an ignoramous about this period and scale, are the figures by the Perries?

    They're mostly Perries - some of the drivers are Foundry (but possibly one by the Perrys too) - the gun crews are mainly Victrix with Perry and Foundry mixed in.
