92nd Foot update

Been away on holiday so not much done lately. After a severe case of tartan-fatigue I had a break from these Camerons to do the Inneskillings below. Back to them now and I've made good progess but there's still so much to do. I hadn't realised before how much extra work the Highland uniforms are to paint compared to ordinary line infantry - the kilts, the band around the bonnet, the socks, the knees (!) ... but I'm starting to really love this unit and will press on and finish them as soon as I can. Until then, some more work in progress pics.

    I only painted 12 figures for my 92nd Gordons battalion, so I feel your pain! What we need is for some bright spark to come up with tartan paint in clan colours. That would certainly make things easier ;-)
