Gimp

Been playing around with Gimp package. I think this looks better than the garden fence as a background.

    Looks good! Is it possible to get actual pictures of the battlefield to use as background? That'd be excellent!

    Thanks guys, it's not the actual battlefield, no, but I tried to use something which looked as near to it as possible. I've got a photo I took of La Haye Sainte somewhere and will try to dig that out and use it, though there be issues with the rather modern bit of road running in front of it!

    I think in "The Waterloo Companion" from Mark Adkin, there could be some usefull background pictures.
    Never the less I like this picture very much!
